Since the Edo period, it has been operating in the current building as a hatago. Its rarity can be said to be a national treasure. The building is historic and wonderful, but the baths and toilets have been refurbished and come with a washlet.
The landlady was also kind and had a good holiday.
Access is one hour by bus from Higashi Okazaki Station. The surrounding area is a historical preservation area, and it is fun to walk around the town, and the famous scenic Korankei is just a short walk away.
The price was 6500 yen including breakfast.

Just 12 years ago today, I was able to visit Asuke-machi by chance and capture photos of famous Tankororin events. There is a taste, but surprisingly I have not been out there, almost I alone.
