My first stay in Tokyo, Japan : Excellent location, just few steps away from main Ginza Shopping Street. Staff is very professional, courteous & friendly. We stayed in triple occupancy room which were neat & clean, even had an air purifier in each room. I would highly recommend this hotel for you family & business stay.

This was our 3rd stay at the Mitsui, and we enjoyed it even more than previously. The Hotel is really convenient as it is a stop for the Airport Limousine Bus. We also had a nice meal at the Restaurant, which was a bit pricey though. Similarly at the Bar , we did have a nice New Year’s Eve enjoying some live jazz, as my wife was ill, and didn’t want to venture out in the cold.

We thought this place was very nice with amazing city views. Small rooms as expected in the center of a big city (have stayed in smaller in Manhattan, New York). We did carry our own bags, but we always do so not a big deal to us. The bar with jazz (you will be issued a coupon) was really a great experience. The music and sound were awesome and great cocktails!

We turned up early after an early business flight and had hoped we might check in early if the rooms were available. Totally understand the protocol on arranging early check-in or booking a room the night before but as seasoned travelers, normally good hotels make an exception if there's availability considering the time we arrived. Anyway, we were told that 3pm is the absolute earliest check-in time as the rooms were all booked which is fine. When we returned mid morning to see if any of the rooms were available/had been cleaned after guest departure the front desk staff were pretty rude and said if we want to check in before 3pm we have to pay the hotel 4,000 yen - which is not published anywhere on the website or on the terms and conditions which is pretty sneaky and poor form. We were told the cleaning staff arrive at 10am so at 12pm we checked back to see if any of the rooms were available (people had been checking out since we arrived at 6am) and to our surprise NONE of the rooms were clean... I've honestly never traveled to a hotel anywhere in the world that would treat it's guests so poorly. I wouldn't recommend staying here especially if you're travelling for work.
