I checked in at this place in July (with lot of rains). A lady welcomed us at with cup of tea and smile.
The staff is very friendly and supportive.
It is located approximately 2 km away from the Shirakawa go famous old wooden houses. also you can find convince store and gas stations nearby.
Services include hot water bath, common space for group chats and for eating, staggered bed system, you can use the utensils and other items to cook your own food if you want, also there is an option for rental bicycle for 500 yen.
Overall, the place was clean, well managed and had a decent views of surrounding mountains.
Although it is 20 minutes walk from bus station, but the host is very kind. This is the only place we had human interaction with the house while the rest in our trip was self check in. The old lady is very kind to offer us many tips, gave us fruit from her farm, made us a cup of green tea. She is very happy if foreigners can speak little Japanese. Best!
Great place to stay in shirakawa-go. The host is very friendly & we're having a very good time there. Best hospitality. Thank you so much for the great talk & time we spent there.

Reception and Shutter bus very nice place and view panorama share location living room and kitchen and cleaness near ant hut have hida beef it's very delicious
