It can be a little confusing at first due to its unconventional layout on the common area, yet the built of this excellent hotel makes you immersed into its unique spaces like a home stay (but with lots of great facilities)
Paranomic view over the river complement with cozy onsen facilities. Well cooked food done in local cuisine style, with staffs being able to converse in different language. I'm touched that foreign workers in the hotels are well-trained and they do not dilute Japanese hospitality experience.
Room is well designed with ample of space, and the ones facing the river and mountain is serene, breathtaking and peaceful.
I had wonderful stay there in February during the lights up.
Although the place is far from shirakawago village but hotel provide free shuttle bus.
The hotel is new and clean. They provide free supper at night.
It’s quite expensive compare to other hotel there but I think I am willing to pay for it.
New, and you can see their effort in small details. Awesome hot spring facility with free outdoor private room and the normal public bath .
Free ice cream, noodle at night and etc are good bonus! Highly recommended
Not as good as expected. The entire hotel and room are well decorated but the service and dinner are quite disappointing. The waiter lead us to the wrong table and the waitress is basically helpless. Always delivered dishes to the wrong ppl and kept us waiting between dishes. As a hotel that host so many foreigners, they don't even have one good English speaker. Wouldn't recommend unless they have any improvement in these parts.
We spent one night and it highly exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer. Great attention to guests. Clean facilities and amazing baths. We would happily recommend to friends and family.
