In conclusion, I highly recommend it. It is quite far from the archeological sites of Shirakawa-go, and you will climb some mountains. If I thought I would catch a taxi, I didn't catch it at all, and even if I tried to call it, the distance from Shirakawa-go seemed to be too small, so I was refused. So what must be done in advance to secure the way. After spending time at the archeological site, enter a nearby hot spring, buy sukiyaki ingredients (Hida beef was very delicious ...) and alcohol at a supermarket, and use a portable flashlight while there is no night street light. Walked. I was so tired, walking while complaining, but I was really happy to go! ! ! ! Three people luxuriously use such a large gassho style cottage, eat Hida beef sukiyaki, On the next morning I returned on foot again, but the scenery was so beautiful that I arrived in no time. I thought it was not a pain to walk that distance unless it was dark at night.

As there were no other people on summer weekdays, it was casually loaned out ♪ The appearance is tasteful, but the facilities are modern and very good. I will stay again if I go to Shirakawa-go.

A house made of gassho, it looks old, but the interior has been renovated, such as around the water, so you can spend it beautifully and comfortably.
