This station serves as the last stop of the Fukuoka Subway Hakozaki Line travelling from Nakasu-Kawabata as well as the start of the Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line heading to Shingu. Yoo do not have to get out of the station if you plan to catch the train after riding the subway or vice versa. However, you need to walk across a small concourse (about 20 meters) that separates the two Lines' platforms and faregates.

Transfer metro station. Maybe you can find something extraordinary but reality in Japan.

Fukuoka City Transportation Bureau and Nishi-Nippon Railroad Station. Both ticket gates are independent. Since there was a direct plan for both lines, the structure is such that it can be done, but there is no sign that it can be realized yet. Therefore, in order to get out of the ticket gate and get out of the station, you have to go up to the 2nd floor and go down.

At the connecting station between Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line and the subway, there was originally a direct plan to connect both lines, so the construction was made in consideration of that. Therefore, although the ticket gate is on the platform of the platform, it is an interesting structure that looks like a bridge station because of the direct track space. Apparently, the difference in the knitting growth between the two lines was a bottleneck, and it was difficult to find a compromise. There is a campus of Kyushu University and a large park around the station, and although there is no downtown area, it is a residential area.
