Great ryokan in Zao Onsen. Their dinner and breakgast buffets are great as well as their hot springs. I just wish that their private onsen was open in the winter.

Definitely NOT ski in or out, walk up hill to lifts, half the staff were nice. Over priced, meals are so, so. Obviously catering for the chinese market. Won't be back.

Mineral onsen is the best. Nice skin. Food is okay. Hotel is quit old. Staff can speak English.

The staff is super attentive and friendly, Robert san and Aoyama san are most helpful, both fluent in English and happy to give advise about where to go skiing or anything else you may need. Food is very good and there are plenty of choises at the buffet breakfast. The hotel has an onsen and is very close to the ski slopes. We would be happy to come back here and we highly recomend this place.

Beautiful Ryokan. Our room was spacious, cozy and clean. The staff is super friendly and we felt like we were at home away from home. We booked the private onsen which was extraordinary and very romantic. A must try. Staff is fluent in English
