Close to ski runs. Van has 'Vert :A four seasons resort' on the side. I say this as we didn't catch it as I thought it was a different resort (i.e. a four seasons resort... like the USA chain)... but they mean a resort fpr all four seasons!. It's a bit of a walk from the bus station, so get the van or arrange pick up prior by phone if possible. Limited english, but very helpful. Thin matresses in Japanese rooms so hard floor to sleep on. No extra matresses spare either. Can get cheaper lift tickets at hotel... but cash only. Room was good. Onsen was small but good too. Would stay there again.

The atmosphere of the hotel is like a renovated condominium, and although it seems a little old, it is clean. It seems that Taro Okamoto and the owner have been interacting with each other for a long time, and the atmosphere was good as Taro Okamoto's brush strokes framed were displayed in the lobby and dining room. The room for 4 people stayed in a small kitchen, a toilet with a washlet, a hand wash, and a bathroom were all prepared separately. A mix of Japanese and Western styles, with a fluffy bed for two. The comforters for two people are comfortable on tatami mats, but both were good with clean and fluffy comforters and crisp sheets. The temperature outside was below 10 degrees Celsius, but the temperature inside was adjusted to a comfortable level with good air conditioning by a fan heater. Some people may find the operating noise a little noisy at bedtime, but I didn't mind sleeping right next to me at all. If you drain the water from the kitchen and hand wash when you arrive, a large amount of rust will come out, so be careful about this area if you drink water from the tap. (Basically, I always do this ritual personally, but since rust of a pretty terrible color came out, it is better to flush it with full power for 1 minute or more.) The meal was sukiyaki using a cassette stove, There were 2 pieces of Yonezawa beef with large marbling on fresh vegetables, and it was soft and very delicious. There was too much to eat, and I was full and satisfied. I'm looking forward to it because I'm planning to stay for consecutive nights and have shabu-shabu the next day. The hot springs that can be used for 24 hours walk through a passage with a little draft, so it is a little cold even if an oil fan heater is operating on the way, but a bathtub made of Japanese cypress is very good. It was a feeling of size that would fill up when about 4 people could fit in, and in fact, up to 4 people could fit in comfortably. The slightly hot, flowing hot spring without any heating or watering is very good because it has a little bit of scent and makes your skin smooth. It is locked at 23:00, but bears appear in the early morning after 20:00, so it is safer not to take a walk when it gets dark. The staff seemed to be relatively elderly men, but there were minor concerns everywhere and the response was not bad.

Quiet and good place It may be fun to eat hot springs and take a walk nearby I'm glad that the hotel staff hung the cover on the motorcycle as the sun went down!
