The best Ryokan in Japan. I've been there twice and it is very peaceful and nice place. The staff are very helpfull. The onsen is always clean. There one new private onsen in the second floor, this is really nice if you don´t be confortable to share the onsen. The food is really fresh food and the variety is delicious. Felt like family.

Old inn. You can always take a bath, but there are 2 small washing places. But the quality of the fountain is so good that you won't sweat even after it gets warm. The food is just good and the main dishes are wild vegetables, but it is delicious anyway. I was able to relax quietly. There is a communal bath and the morning market is small, but local food was good.

There is Wi-Fi, too and is comfortable. We enjoyed local dishes at the center of Yamana with dinner and breakfast. There was also a rented bath where you could tell if you were taking a bath with a simple tag and you could enjoy the bath 24 hours a day. There is also a parking lot. It was a nice hotel, but I did not understand why the price was a little higher than other hotels.

It is a hot spring hotel which is done by a couple. We stayed for three nights and four days alone. The phone did not connect depending on the timing. A lady carries a meal in a tatami-covered room. The dish was a dish of Yamagata mountain vegetables and fish. Because I am eating a disorderly diet, I had a diet that would recover from the inside. There was no meat, so the appearance was mild, but when I ate it I had a firm flavor and a feeling of fullness. There are hot springs on the first floor and the second floor, but they are small in size, so they are used in pairs. Hijiori Onsen also has a public bath outside, so I think that is fine. I went by car, but because it was only one, I parked in front of the inn. The road around the hotel is only about the size of a car, so I do not recommend a large car. It was like a heavy snowfall area, so I visited in May, but snow was still high on both sides of the road. The customer service was not too polite and too messy, and it felt natural. It is recommended hotel.
