I showed up and tried to check in. There was no one in the building, lights dim. The check-in is digital (amazing) and self serve. I messed up and booked my stay for the next day so I called the number and they updated my reservation for that night (amazing). I go upstairs... and it's gross. The garbage hadn't been emptied in what seemed like days. The laundry was overflowing as well. I went into my room and it was fine - simple. But there was no one else in the entire building. Empty. So incredibly creepy and I didn't feel safe (the first time during my trip to Japan traveling solo that I felt unsafe).. so I booked a hotel down the street, swallowed the cost of Bacchus for the night, and left. Might be okay if it was cleaned and people were there but... not for me that night.

nice & cheap. comfortable beds - I do wish the curtain had gone all the way around my bed/had been a bit thicker to block out the light. good location close to station, friendly staff. would stay again.

This a great guesthouse! The staff is amazing, really friendly and helpful. The rooms and the bathrooms are clean. There is a nice little bar downstairs and a lounge with a wood stove. Really warm atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice but the tourise bus can not stop infront of the hotel.Needs to walk to hotel with your luagage
