Was given a ride to the hotel from the train by van. We were offered free tea in the lobby. Hotel room was neat and orderly. Free yukatas were in the closet for us to use. The hot spring was clean and nice, but the water itself was mediocre.
The dinner and breakfast were really good. Very fresh, authentic Japanese food. The onsen was great as well. Really nice view, and it's smaller so when I went it was empty, just me. Super nice.
Nice location, the hotel was nice but most facilities were innaccesdible due to repair or other reasons
Great rooms, but the onsen was under construction so we couldn't enjoy it. Everything is closed by 5pm and there was only one restaurant down the street that was open by the time we got off miyajima. Service was great.
The Japanese style room was absolutely gorgeous. The room had a view of the ocean and had tatami mats in the two bedrooms and the little tea room. The room had a bathroom with a tub, and two toilets. The complimentary green tea and the local cream-filled cookies were an absolute treat best enjoyed while sitting in the tea room. The big bath in the hotel was under construction when we went, but the hotel provided vouchers for the public bath down the street. The staff picked us up at the nearest JR station Ōnoura (大野浦) in the evening and brought us there in the morning. For visiting Miyajima, the hotel gave us coupons for the baggage watching service at Miyajimaguchi as well.
