Impressed with the friendly English reception, rugby focus, convenient location almost directly next to the train station, and “at home” breakfast. Not a Palace, but business hotel. It’s small, quiet, clean and fine. Prices are rising in Japan? 11,000/night for this business hotel, in the past maybe 6-8000, and not just due to the rugby?
Old, in need of an update, and a warning, do NOT check in before 3 PM, i arrived at 2:15 PM, and they wanted an extra 1000¥ to access the room earlier
The rooms don't have heater control (only AC control). Wifi is weak, disconnects, and very very slow. Breakfast selection is minimal, and because of the small eating area, there is a limit on number of people that can eat there (you have to reserve). If you don't reserve on time (you can only do it on the evening before) you are stuck with a small present selection to take to your room. Only positive is that it's very close to two train stations.
Good staff. Good location. Very near from train station.
I stayed at work for a long time. Near the station, breakfast was included at a reasonable price, the room was a bit large and clean, and I entered the sauna at the hot spring facility next door and had a good night's sleep. Above all, the staff at the reception and breakfast hall always welcome you with a bright smile. The problem is that there aren't many restaurants nearby, but the restaurants in the Chinese restaurant on the 1st floor and Oiden-no-Yu are quite expensive. A pleasant and cozy hotel.
