Good collection of sumie or sumi brush paintings. Their special exhibitions are also interesting. Most interesting, however, is the museum building itself. It is a good example of Wa-modern or Modern style with Japanese tradition incorporated. You will see Japanese architecture is not limited to temples and shabby houses. At the edge of museum building, there is tea house attatched. It costs extra there to have green tea, but woth trying. Sorrounding garden is also nice.

Museum in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture Second visit for the first time in 4 years Permanent exhibition is 200 yen, special exhibition is probably different depending on the project, but I remember it was about 900 yen (I'm sorry if it is different) Exhibits I like the garden here more than that. The autumn leaves are beautiful because it's early autumn Imagine how beautiful spring is when only one weeping cherry tree stands in the garden. I want the corona to fit in early spring.

The view of the garden is very beautiful. The ink paintings on display are all wonderful works.
