I usually am not a big fan of Japanese hotel chains as their rooms seem to be much smaller, but this hotel was one of my favourites in terms of overall experience and quality of their service. The room was large with a nice Japanese bath. I’d highly recommend staying here if you are in Nara.

I’ve read some of the negative reviews of this hotel and I’d have to disagree. This is an excellent 4 star hotel. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious for Japan. The hotel is within walking distance of the major tourist sites of Nara. All in all I would recommend this hotel as a good “all rounder”. Not superb but “it does what it says on the tin”!

The old man working at the cafe near the reception was extremely rude. Other than this shocking experience, the internet speed was very very slow. The breakfast was nice.

Didn't find a microwave yet. Fair price,old building but nice located next to JR Nara St.

The size of room is pretty impressive, it's much bigger than other Japanese Hotels. However, the guy at front desk is not very helpful
