Less spendy than some, and definitely less greasy, this place is open late and it's comfortable. It covers all of the bases, and the food is tasty... Yet it's just OK. Because I've been there twice for kip and the first time they were out and told us so. We had something different, and it was fine. This time we were simply given a different meat than we asked for. It was also cool (lacking heat).

super good food. the hot chicken was very spicy and very tasty..my compliments! the staff is very social and even the food is prepared with love .. the fries were excellent, fried in good sunflower that you see as nice taster, especially in fries which seems so simple but most cafeteria do not bake anything. the lamb shawarma is ecellent premium quality, no turkey meat mixed by to be cheaper .. fair business. everything clean and service of 4 stars level. recommended !!

Have to wait very long for the order. Kapsalon doner: sauce sambal and garlic was already on the kapsalon. Sauce was so little that I had to get my own garlic out of the cupboard. Fries super hard and the meat was not fresh. The spare ribs were okay but little marinade and the chips with the spare ribs were also super hard and all small pieces as if the waste was chips. Dry salad without dressing. In short it was bad. Too bad. If you feel like having a nice bite in the evening and you will get this delivered.

As an Amersfoorter I often went to eat at 't Poortje. I don't even mind that you have to wait around 20 minutes while no one is in front of you. Normally I ordered a chicken doner dish of 12.95 or 13.95. The first few times I got good food for that money and was really satisfied. Today I stopped by again with my son and the food was a bit disappointing. Got way too little for the money I paid for it. Presented nicer as before, but that is of little use. Went home half empty stomach. Also strange that they no longer have a Doner on a skewer. Wondered where that Doner came from. It also tasted less like grill. As said before it was not bad, but was better used to them. When I finished eating I also said that we got much less than usual. Neat from the employee to say that we would get more next time.
