I don't know how many times this place changed owners, but there has been a Chinese takeaway restaurant named Golden Lotus here for at least 35 years. It just reopened again, also offering home delivery.
Typical Dutch-style Chinese Food and flavours, but used products feel and taste fresh and portion size is very good.
Friendly people!
For years a fine (take-out) Chinese with well-stocked (high) containers. Only once was it not fresh in my opinion (tough meat). Then never seen again. Since corona unclear opening hours and therefore have been at other Chinese takeout (Rose Garden and in Haastrecht). This was disappointing due to higher prices and halved containers. So had to order a lot more
Definitely recommended to get Chinese here!
I ordered at 5:30 pm and received a mail that I could expect a deliveryman at 6:10 pm.
At 7 p.m. I finally got them by phone after many attempts. "It was crowded"
I was able to eat at 7:45 PM.
Food was great. But it is not worth waiting for nearly 2.5 hours.
Ordered food yesterday and agreed a time. Five minutes before the agreed delivery time and nice and warm. 5 minutes later, the delivery person was again at the door. He thought the sambal had been forgotten. Not so, but the effort they take to satisfy you.
