The town hall is very beautiful, when it gets dark the town hall is also illuminated. It is the heart of the city and is in the middle of a large square which is enclosed by houses. There are several restaurants that offer delicious food and good service. You can also sit outside in the square. There are also several pubs and seating options nearby. In addition, there is a very beautiful church in sight which is also illuminated at night.

In the tower of the town hall is a carillon or a carillon, on which rotating pictures pass by. The carillon was donated in 1982 on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the city of Roermond. In 1995, the carillon was supplemented by a group of moving images, which revolve around the tower of the Town Hall every afternoon.

Lively, beautiful marketplace with many historic buildings and a variety of gastronomic offer. The Stadhuis (Town Hall, built around 1700) is a special eye-catcher here, whose pretty carillon plays host to old and young at the hour.
