In the parking lot of Restaurant Hajé you see an information column of the Transfer Point, but it is not all that clear. But I think good advice is to first go to the terrace of the restaurant to enjoy a great view over the polders of the Eiland van Schalkwijk and after a drink or a snack you go to b.v. Tull en ´t Waal is an elongated village with many beautiful old farms and a very beautiful old church. You will also come across the entrance to the Elpad, just go into that, then you will arrive at a platform path over a water storage and inudation area very fascinating and you can then continue along the Schalkwijkse Wetering to the village of Schalkwijk and there is then again an opportunity to take a break in the middle of the water-rich village. But if you want something different, you can rent a canoe from Hajé for an unforgettable trip through the Eiland van Schalkwijk. But whatever you do, have fun.
