New York Pizza

First time ordering there since they opened 3-4 days ago. Ordered pizza salami, snackbox with buffalo wings - crispy nuggets and garlic bread. The pizza is crunchy the taste is perfect and its what u expect of a pizza. The price is decent compared to other pizzeria's. The tomatosauce is probally self made because it tasted fresh and delicious not like the flavour u get out of the cans from the stores. The snackbox the garlic bread was amazing, fluffy - full of flavours - not dry perfect made thick crust but it doesnt feel like that when u eat it. The picture of it have 2 bites taken thats when she said she needed to make a picture and share it because of the taste. The crispy chickens were good. The buffalo wings were made perfect good flavour nice and easy to get off the bones. Overal? The best pizza place in meppel compared to dominos and the shoarma places that serve pizza? I will only get it from here on now. 10/10 quick service. Defenitly recomended going here instead of domimos if u want fresh and good pizza.

Tonight I placed an order for the first time at New York pizza in Meppel. Previously always had good experiences in another city. I still hesitated to order a pizza here, because I think the pizzas are too simple. Not enough vegetables and too much meat. In the end I opted for a pizza that I normally would not take. I still wanted to taste it. I received a pizza that had been in a display cabinet all day after my idea. Chewy and dried out sauce and meat. That was not nice, after being quite hungry and ordering from you for the first time. Called anyway. I was difficult to understand by the operator, but only logical if you are standing in a room where other people are walking through our conversation. Eventually it could be arranged that I could get a new pizza. According to the operator it could be that the Italian (which I ordered) is tough by itself and the New York with a thick bottom is not (It seems to me that there are people who like such a parched Italian style, but okay😅). In the end I got a new pizza with a NY bottom and returned the other (This took a total of 2 hours). I asked the delivery person what she thought of the pizza that was given back, she also thought it looked tough. New pizza now on your lap. The soil is pleasant to eat. The meat is crispy but also slightly chewy, which I personally don't like. I would think more of a delicious creamy pizza with flavor. Those are American pizzas too, right? In any case, thank you very much for your cooperation. Some would say, once never again. I partially agree with this statement. Not this pizza again anyway, but maybe another time (Gives a hint, for more pizzas with vegetables and herbs😶). 2 stars for the excellent collaboration.

Unfortunately, the order was a complete fiasco. Because the app didn't work, we ordered by phone at 5.15 pm. Due to crowds, the pizza wouldn't be delivered an hour later. This is understandable. However, the pizzas weren't there yet at 6.45 pm. Then tried to call 9 times, but there was no answer. Called again around 8.30 pm and reported that we no longer wanted to receive the pizzas. The courier is at the door at 20.50. More than 3.5 hours after order and 2.5 hours after the expected arrival. What an incredible turnoff. Would have been looking forward to this, for me, special day.
