ANWB Rijschool Deventer

If you are looking to change your foreign driving license, it is very good school to go to. I had a teacher Paul. He is very professional and help to brush up your driving skill on Dutch road ( all those different rules- ..)

I have worn out several driving schools, at ANWB Driving School my fear of failure is taken seriously and I get good guidance to learn how to deal with this. It also looks at what I do well (I often heard what I did not do well). A calm instructor, who clearly explains how and what, which makes me understand. I now enjoy my driving lessons. Contact via email is also very nice. For me with my hearing impairment nice that this is possible.

I started at the ANWB with a trial lesson where they could make a good estimate of the number of lessons required for me. 2 weeks later I could already start with lessons of 2 hours. I have only had 1 regular lesson but am very satisfied with it! I find the peace in the car very nice and in those 2 hours you can do a lot and try. I think I can definitely get my driver's license here!

I have now had 15 driving lessons at the ANWB in Deventer and I like it so far. The ANWB works with a pleasant system. You get a practice book with a map. The map contains various topics with numbers that correspond with numbers in the practice book. After a lesson, the driving instructor indicates which subjects will be covered in the next lesson. You can already read about this in the practice book and ask related questions about it. In the next lesson you will discuss these questions. Then I implement the topics in practice. After class I get a grade from 1 to 6 for that subject. A 6 means that it is completely good and does not require more specific attention. When this is a 3 or 4, I read the practice book again and it usually goes a lot better the next lesson. I notice that this helps me a lot to understand what I am doing in the car. I also learn a lot compared to others. When I see what friends of mine are doing after 15 lessons, I do have a head start. In the beginning it went a little too fast for me, it was too much at the same time. The driving instructor responded well to this, by first focusing only on certain things. For example, I only started switching and linking. He then took over hazard perception, until I was able to combine both of these. I would recommend the ANWB because it works with a pleasant, well-arranged system, you learn a lot, and I have the idea that the instructor takes all the time for you and explains it very clearly.
