Kryukov House

Nice old brick house in good condition.

The house on Sovetskaya Street, 25 in the Zheleznodorozhny District of Novosibirsk was built in 1908 by the merchant Zakhariy Grigoryevich Kryukov at the corner of Kabinetskaya (Sovetskaya) and Tobizenovskaya (Maxim Gorky) streets on the land plot No. 10-11 in block No. 32. He ordered the basement and first floor he himself, and the second floor was rented by the Public Assembly of Novonikolaevsk. Later, the Public Assembly also rented the ground floor, which housed a large auditorium with a stage. In the same room 3. G. Kryukov opened the Odeon cinema, which soon had to be closed due to dissatisfaction with the Public Assembly.
