Pamyatnik Arkhitektoru A.d. Kryachkovu

The bronze figure of the famous architect Andrey Dmitrievich Kryachkov, more than 3 meters high, is installed on a red granite pedestal not far from the regional administration building. It and many other houses in Novosibirsk were built according to his designs. In the first half of the 20th century, under his leadership, large-scale construction was launched in the city. Numerous new buildings have created the modern style of Novosibirsk and brought fresh architectural solutions to it. The authors of the monument: sculptor Aram Grigoryan, artist Yuri Burika, architect Alexei Kovalenko, project curator Valery Arbatsky (at the time the monument was created, the chief architect of Novosibirsk). The sculpture is 3.2 meters high. The monument was built at the expense of construction organizations in Novosibirsk (MZhK Energetik, Discus Plus LLC, etc.). The grand opening took place on June 28, 2008.
