The square was ennobled, the entrance was made, and the chapel was put up. Quiet and clean place, the area is constantly maintained in order, there are several monuments and memorials, put pretty shops. Meetings of veterans of the Afghan war and other events are held. Nearby is the Vologda and English cemetery.
