Wonderful and so old Monastery

Great ancient place. Looks like ratty a little, but it is OK for the place with it history. Highly recommended

The place is steeped in history, spirituality, each brick will tell you about it, I recommend it.

An ancient Orthodox monastery. The Cathedral of Princes Boris and Gleb gives a feeling of antiquity, but it is in dire need of restoration. The preserved and partially restored frescoes convey the atmosphere of the old times. An interesting belfry, combined with the Church of John the Baptist. There is a sense of the power of history, it is clear that the monastery was once a very powerful structure, but now it is in dire need of funding.

A beautiful monastery. A very large part of Russian history is associated with the Dunrah monastery. Come on over. Learn. It's worth it.
