Well, a monument is like a monument, nothing special. That is, the monument itself is quite good, but it is completely incomprehensible: why Yesenin? Why here? And the park itself is very so-so, dirty, and an eternal feeling of neglect, so the overall impression is not the most positive. I would not call it a landmark, rather a convenient designation for the meeting place.

Excellent quiet place in the city center. But on the monument there is nothing of the work of a wonderful poet. You could have scribbled a few beautiful lines of it.

S. Yesenin has never been to Voronezh, but his work is very much loved and appreciated here. The opening ceremony was attended by the author of the monument, foreign guests and the famous actor Sergei Bezrukov, who played the poet in the national TV series of the same name.

The monument is located in a small cozy public garden in the city center. They say that the place to install was chosen by Sergey Bezrukov, who plays the role of Yesenin.
