Константин Викторович (03/29/2018)
In the village of Tukhani (Sandovsky district), an ancient noble estate was built, built at the turn of the XVII - XVIII centuries. To this day, the Annunciation Church, the old manor house, the empire palace of the princes of Ukhtomsky have survived. The estate was granted by Ukhtomsky in the 17th century by Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich Romanov, and they owned it before the revolution. Locals say that on calm nights in the estate, a child cries. Princess Felista once killed her son, according to one version - with keys on her head, according to another - dropped onto a hot stove. The child was buried, but the peasants reported to the princess, and the police exhumed the corpse. Ukhtomsky had to pay a lot of money, since then they began to go broke, and the entire princely family died out. The last princes ended their lives tragically: Ivan was a bailiff in Vesyegonsk district, killed by peasants, buried in the village of Tukhani, Sergey lived in Moscow, where, according to rumors, he was pushed under a tram. Today Tukhani is the oldest surviving manor in the Tver region. In disrepair, the Annunciation Church and the Empire Palace, where the school used to be located, arrive. The old manor house of rather rude forms looks more well-groomed, which is the oldest surviving building in the Tver region. Inside the remnants of the school
