The view from the observation point is stunning!

A memorial complex in which busts of heroes of the Second World War were born who were born in Podporozhye or who performed feats in his defense. In 2019, the complex was restored, although the work has not yet been completed until the end. New busts were installed, paths and viewing platforms appeared, from which a view of the Svir River and the Upper Svir hydroelectric station opens. I hope that over time all this will not overgrow with bushes, and the restoration work will be completed and brought to an end.

The reconstruction was successful! Nice place to walk!
