This work of art is simply magnificent, although it borders on laziness, as some elements are not carved as I would like to go smoothly, which would convey more realism. As a result, the idea of the artist is clear. On 4

It is very pleasant that in the city of Volzhsky there is such a monument. And its location is very well chosen. After all, here the main street of the city and a busy intersection

For hundreds of years, dogs have been used as guides for people. They are mentioned in a children's verse about the English alphabet, which has been known since the 16th century: “B was a Blind-man / Led by a dog” [1]. The first schools for the training of guide dogs were created in Germany during the First World War in order to increase the mobility of veterans who were blinded as a result of hostilities. In 1929, the first school was created in the United States (in Nashville, Tennessee; since 1931, in Morristown, New Jersey). In Great Britain, similar schools were created in 1931.

A rather unusual monument. Why it was put on us is not clear.

A beautiful monument. When I pass by, I stroke the dog on the head)
