Pamyatnik "Druzhba Narodov"

A beautiful monument depicting people of different races holding the globe together. Stands in a small cozy park.

If you look closely, you can see that human figures represent representatives of different races. The young man in the center is European, on the left is African, on the right is a Mongoloid girl. Sadly, several pigeons from the globe flew away, initially there were five. An African young man mercilessly clenches his fist in another fist. Similar monuments were erected in Moscow (Izmailovsky Park) and Sarov, but they were not preserved there. So for connoisseurs of Soviet sculpture, the only way to look at such a beautiful monument is here in Tver.

Very spectacular ,, Friendship of Peoples ,, I tell you !. Young, beginning moms in the shade of trees walk their children in strollers, and their husbands go to the coastal shops in search of food ... lovely! Near really valid ATC in the Tver region.

It is located on MIR Square, opposite the ATC along the Tverskli region, probably a significant location))) I personally liked the monument (I am a guest in Tver). Good work of the sculptor! The presence of benches is a plus good, I especially liked the bench under a large spruce. Of course, I would suggest changing the paving slabs, in some places it collapsed. In the summer, flowers would not be superfluous of course, but now it’s January, so everything is fine))) A good view of the bridge from this place, quite quiet, although the roads are from two sides. The New Year's backlight pumped up a bit, electricians left wire and garland trimmings near the metal arch. Nearby there is a bus and tram stop (bus, tram) stop. Pl. Of the world. The place deserves 4 ☆, more such sisters are needed with the send of the WORLD to the masses!)))

The flower beds around the monument are not very overgrown. And the square itself, in which the monument is located, is beautiful.
