Nikolo-Uleyminskiy Monastyr'

So unusual .. the village is small, and it has a rather large monastery. The repair was not in the church .. but there is a monument to the defenders of the Poles! The time of Minin and Pozharsky. And from the village leads through the forest a path paved with stone, not wide, how old is interesting for her or for centuries.

Unexpectedly discovered such beauty. A good place, a lot of work put on recovery. I was here better than Solbe.

Peaceful place

It is very convenient to come here on the way to Uglich. A good asphalt goes to the monastery itself. The monastery is active, female, old-believer. It seems that organized tours do not bring more here. But the monastery is open for private visits (skirts, shawls, etc.) Everything is in excellent condition. especially impressed by the wall (see photo).

The place is interesting, but they didn’t let me in there.
