The monument to the first teacher is located on Sovetskaya Street in the city of Atkarsk, Saratov Region. The opening of the monument took place in 1996. The architect of the project was the architect Pavel Andreevich Yakushev who arrived in Atkarsk. The monument is depicted in the form of figures of a teacher and a student, and behind them is a huge open book.
