A very beautiful monastery on the banks of the Volga. You can stay in an inexpensive hotel at the monastery, explore the monastery, pray in the temple, wander around the neighborhood. There is food in the refectory of the monastery. For 150 rubles. you can get on a tour of the monastery, visit the old church, the inner temple with a magnificent iconostasis decorated with carved marble, climb the bell tower, where a beautiful view of the surroundings opens. Recommend.

The monastery is new, built in 2006 almost on the banks of the Volga River and fenced off by a high wall. There is also a three-story hotel building. No sooner had we entered the gates of the monastery, when it began to rain again and we had to hide in the church. The inner territory is large, in the center there is a lawn with a small rotunda, and on the opposite side from the entrance there is the oldest part of the monastery - the temple in the name of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, with the restoration of which the construction of the monastery began. Two new churches were built - in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh and in honor of the Holy Trinity, fraternal buildings and a 47-meter bell tower in the form of a lighthouse. I liked the site with a beautiful view of the Volga. Unfortunately, the old temple is now open only on major holidays and was not able to visit there. Many flowers are planted on the territory, there is even a small vineyard. Be sure to stop by the grocery store to try the local kvass with horseradish or ginger and honey, as well as the monastery pastries. Delicious branded cake and sorrel pies.

I really liked this monastery! I liked it there very much! My brother and I went there on an excursion from the department of culture, youth policy and tourism of the city of Novokuibyshevsk. We saw the Holy Trinity Church there, the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, we also saw the fish shop. The fish shop bred fry and let them into the Volga. Fish is not grown for food. We also saw the most important attraction of the monastery, the bell tower. The monk who led the tour rang the bell very beautifully! Also allowed to ring the bell for some sightseers, but we did not ring. Then we went to the monastery buffet. There we bought delicious pies and sweet rolls. Also, my brother bought himself a samsa. In general, I recommend a visit to the monastery!
