The Grotto on the Back Road was built at the beginning of the 19th century. The author of the building is unknown. In the grotto there was a marble statue of a nymph - a copy of an antique sculpture. In the twentieth century, the grotto with the sculpture was lost. Thanks to archaeological research and preserved inventories carried out in the 19th century, it was possible to recreate it in 2007 on its original foundation and in all its glory. The grotto is made of red brick and decorated with white grotesque, that is, roughly worked stone. Inside the grotto there is a statue of a nymph holding flowers to her chest. The author of the sculpture is the Moscow master Alexander Suslikov.
