Yuri Vladimirovich Dolgorukiy (Юрий Владимирович Долгорукий, 1090 - 1157) - the prince of Rostov-Suzdal and the grand prince of Kiev, the 6th son of Vladimir Vsevolodovich Monomakh. Traditionally considered the founder of Moscow. From 1113 (according to another version, from 1096) to the end of his life, Yuri ruled the Rostov-Suzdal principality. From 1132, he defended his interests and brothers in the south, fighting for Pereyaslavl, and then for Kiev (for which he received the nickname Dolgorukiy).
