A monument to the builders of the Moscow Canal

Powerful object of the last century. So much effort and life has been put into the construction of the Moscow Canal. Feels the strength and power nearby. Earlier in the summer everyone was swimming in the waters and there simply was no place on the shore. Now the water is considered dirty (and it really is). The shores are not always well-groomed.

An interesting monument. I would never understand who it is ... until I read it here)))

The monument is located near the road and is a metal wall to which gears are attached. Dedicated to the builders of the Moscow Canal, which passes through this city and provides water communication with the capital. The monument stands out because there is nothing like it in the vicinity.
