For the first time in 2013. the experience was better. Recently visited the second time. The refectory was a little disappointed in the quality of the products. And in the church, my mother was not very sociable, she could not answer many questions for us. And the territory used to be more well-groomed and blooming.

Indescribable beauty .. Svyato-Vvedensky island monastery. It is located on an island in the middle of the Vvedensky (Vyatka) lake. The monastery is small. Today it operates as a women's monastery, and from the day of its foundation until 1918, it was a monastery. In Soviet times, it was closed, and there were juvenile correctional institutions on the territory. The abbess of the monastery, Abbess Fevronia .. day of the angel 8 July. ( an interesting coincidence). Now there is an orphanage "Kovcheg" on the territory, so do not be surprised when a 15-year-old girl sells pastries in the refectory, or teenage girls clean up the territory. By the way, each of you can work in the monastery. You will see a call for this in the refectory, next to the prices of baked goods and dairy products. Real milk. 🐄 We bought homemade chocolate cheese. Very tasty. I regret that it is not enough. In the Temple of the monastery there are old filled icons and the special grace of God. On a small cozy territory 🌹roses, beauty and silence. There are benches where you can relax and reconnect with nature. The exits to the lake are especially good. And the lake refectory is a great place. Terrace on the water. Water lilies and ducks are all around .. delicious pastries. I have always admired the beauty of Russia. We have so many attractions. Here is another beautiful place in the collection of impressions.

Very unusual for central Russia - a monastery on the island. Very nice. Moreover, it is available. Wonderful weekend walk. Come, you will not regret it !!!

A picturesque secluded place with beautiful views in winter and summer. Good refectory. The largest church is closed. The acting is unusually beautiful inside and you can feel the real secrecy in it.
