A beautiful place, a place of power. In 1878, the miraculous icon "Inexhaustible Chalice" appeared in the Vladychny Monastery, which became its most famous shrine. The founder is considered to be the Holy Reverend Varlaam of Serpukhov; a monument to him is located at the entrance to the monastery. But even before that, there was a vision of Alexei Metropolitan of Moscow to build a monastery, from the icon of the Mother of God he heard: "Within the city of Serpukhov: there I loved a place for the salvation of many human souls." It was built by the cell attendant Varlaam, sent by Alexei, and equipped the monastery for 30 years. A wooden canopy-chapel was erected over the grave of the Monk Varlaam of Serpukhov.

A very beautiful and peaceful place. The territory smells of bread, its own bakery and milk. In the summer they bring honey, meat. There is an aviary with peacocks. Very kind service staff, they were greeted at home, in their own way, endlessly grateful to the monastery for support and help, now we always go there with gratitude saying thank you, deep bow.

The female monastery is a very fertile place, well-groomed, many beautiful flowers. There is a holy spring on the territory. The temple complex is magnificent. Inside the working temple, there are many ancient icons, a very prayerful place. Here you can order an indefatigable psalter, both about health and repose, nuns pray fervently for everyone to whom the notes are served. Every day in the church the nuns read the Akathist to the Mother of God "The Inexhaustible Cup" is a prayer for people who suffer from alcohol addiction. Many families know how difficult it is to find themselves in such a life situation where one of the family members is addicted to alcohol. Only the Lord and the Mother of God can help in this difficult life situation. I highly recommend coming to this holy place for help, consolation and hope in the earliest possible changes for the better. God help us all !!!

There is the main thing for the monastery - wonderful people who are ready to help and explain everything necessary to pilgrims and parishioners. Vasa's mother simply radiates love and kindness to people, I managed to communicate with her a little. A small cozy temple where it is so good to pray. And, of course, the famous miraculous icons! There is a bakery (pies are very tasty) and a canteen (dumplings are just super). Small, very well-groomed area, bus stop 2 minutes away, parking.
