The monument to Chekhov

In 1892, Chekhov bought an estate in the Serpukhov district, so he often visited the city, including practicing medicine. The monument was erected in 1999. The composition of the monument is divided into 2 parts: a sculpture of Chekhov and across the road a sculpture of the heroine of his work - Ladies with a Dog. The area around is ennobled, there is lighting.

I often visit the monument to Chekhov through it, it passes my way to work and home! A good writer so the monument is very appropriate!
