An interesting monument to the bright and ambiguous figure of Tsarist Russia. Serpukhov’s strange relationship with Stolypin, who didn’t work here, and with Kiev, in which Pyotr Arkadevich unexpectedly ended his days, regardless of his political and economic activities, is not entirely clear. The Stolypin case has not been continued and, obviously, will no longer be received. At the same time, he is certainly an example of serving the Motherland. The monument is beautiful, original, unexpectedly built into the landscape - however, it is quite appropriate. The area after restoration looks unexpectedly fresh and beautiful.

A meeting of people in stone and bronze in the square shows that Serpukhov is ready for any power - from ancient Slavic-princely to communist. It is sad that in the only really historically significant place where the ruined Temple of Alexander Nevsky stood, so far only a memorial stone.
