Tu-144 - Soviet supersonic airliner. The world's first passenger aircraft to break the sound barrier. But commercial operation lasted only 3 years. Maintenance turned out to be too expensive, and fuel consumption is simply colossal. Given that in the USSR there were no rich people as a social class, there was no one to fly. A similar Anglo-French project has a different fate: Concord supersonic aircraft were used for almost 30 years: from 1976 to 2003. The ticket cost reached several thousand dollars, but the liner was popular as an image product: celebrities, big businessmen, members of the government like Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain liked to fly on it. The plane is in excellent condition. There are no fences, the approach to the pedestal is free, the backlight turns on at night. If you get by private car, you can leave the car in the parking lot of the nearby Agat Research Institute.
