Molochnaya Ferma

At the end of the Poplar Alley of the Vlakhernskoye-Kuzminki estate, on the bank of the Upper Pond, there is a Animal Farm, which is a small farm. The buildings date back to the 1840s and were designed by the architect A. Gilardi. In the center of the Animal Yard there is a cross-shaped Milk Pavilion, in fact, a residential outbuilding for one of the family members of the owner of the estate. This building was decorated with luxury: the large rooms had parquet floors, Dutch stoves, the walls were covered with Flemish linen. Initially, the building had balconies, and on its sides were installed sculptures of bulls, made according to sketches by Baron P. Klodt.
