A nunnery is always different from a man's. Everything is in flowers, the territory is huge. There is a hotel and a superb refectory. The prices and quality of the dishes were very good. The monastery always sells pastries, goat and cow milk, sour cream, cottage cheese. And next to the refectory there is an unusually beautiful huge log. This is the first time I've seen one. It is round and tall !!! There are many shrines in the monastery. Volunteers help with services. On the left side of the Exaltation of the Cross Church in a white building, if you go up the stairs, you will see the miraculous Jerusalem icon of the Mother of God in Greek writing, which has become the main shrine of the monastery. Very atmospheric place !!!

Quiet and cozy place 15 km. from Moscow (20 minutes by car). Large well-groomed area. There is a small pond with fish, you can relax in peace and quiet on a bench in the shade of trees near the Cathedral of the Ascension of the Lord and the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross.
