The “Nerastankino” pavilion (aka “The Temple of Melancholy”) is a small gallery with a through passage and a low dome. The building was built in 1803 according to the project of architect Ivan Egotov in just a few months. The construction is carried out by serfs of Count Sheremetyev. The name, as the researchers believe, comes from the lyrical landscape around and the magnificent view of the Upper Tsaritsyno Pond: “you will not part with it”. However, on the map of 1816, the pavilion is designated as "Mirostankino": some consider this name to be original and associate it with a romantic feeling of the "frailty of the world" in those places.

In addition, what was built (and it is not clear how many real bricks there are left) in 1803, is nothing of itself. True in the nooks there are shops "for kisses" and young people actively use them in the evening :). Nice view of the Upper Tsaritsinsky Pond. True, he is better from Milovida. However, Tsaritsino is a beautiful park. Love to walk here

Pavilion "Nerastankino", built in 1803-1804 according to the project of I.V. Egotov. At the beginning of the 20th century, the pavilion turned into a ruin. In the late 1920s, it was renovated and in the 1930s it was used to house a park reading library. Restoration work in 2006-2007 returned the pavilion to its historical appearance.
