Just residence house with nice architecture, nothing special

The house of the Vyborg architect Eduard Dippel, built in 1898, by the name of the most intriguing one, is also called the Flat House, the House - Iron, the House without a Wall, and the House of Cards. The reason for such names is quite banal - you just need to stand at a certain point near the house and an optical illusion arises - the structure is absolutely flat, consisting of one wall. I have seen such masterpieces, but I appreciated an extra reason to smile. In addition, it is pleasant to contemplate a rather graceful building in the neo-Gothic style.

Vyborg is an interesting landmark, like many buildings with history in this town. Despite the fact that the building needs renovation, it looks beautiful and dignified. The house in the Gothic style is within walking distance from the castle and on the waterfront.

The witch's house is one of the interesting sights of Vyborg. The Gothic building was built in 1898. Due to its angular location and unusual wall, it is also called the Iron House. Looking at it from the side of Yuzhny Val Street, it seems as if it consists of only one wall. I did not find in the sources why it is called the Witch's House. No less interesting and beautiful building nearby, which houses the Pedagogical College. Both buildings attract attention with their architecture.

The commentary is the same as for the oldest residential building. I took a photo from afar so as not to show the ugliness of cosmetics.
