One of the main decorations of a small piece of sushi is located on the Love Island in Gatchina. The Venus Pavilion appeared in the Palace Park of Gatchina under Paul I. The Emperor saw the eponymous building on a trip to France. The design of a small gray-green building was developed in 1791, and the construction of the pavilion was completed two years later. The pavilion of Venus, built at the very edge of the water, has several more names - the Temple of Love, Trellis. The facade of the unique pavilion, named after the goddess of love, is decorated with a four-column portico, the culmination of which is a triangular pediment. Along the entire perimeter of the Trelyazh in Gatchina, there is a ribbon parapet with a grid, and relief medallions are placed between the arches of a building sheathed with shingles. The Temple of Love in Gatchina is completely made of wood, including the pile foundation, the plinth and the foundation are made of paritsa slab, Pudost stone. The choice of such materials allowed the pavilion to withstand the war years, although the structure was significantly damaged. Inside the pavilion, you can see only two rooms - the Great Hall and the lobby. In the first of them, the windows-doors are facing the White Lake, which is attributed to an artificial origin. Natural light is enhanced by mirrors in the corners. Today you can take a tour of the restored Venus Pavilion, which opened for visits in 2010.

The restoration of the island was carried out using the conservation method. Apart from the Venus pavilion, nothing has reached us on the Island of Love. The ruined remains of some buildings have been preserved. At the northern entrance to the island there is a feeding place for ducks.
