The World War II monument on the shores of Lake Radka. The unknown martyr fires the soldiers and civilians who died in the Soviet-German war. The overall design of the monument is simple and the scale is not large. Although it is remote, there are still many people who come to worship and remember the martyrs.

Is an important place of the history of the world. There you can breathe the contribution of the soviet people to the peace.

Everyone visiting St Petersburg should go to Lake Ladoga along the green belt of glory. I booked via Marina Wilson tours at Christmas. It's extremely bleak on the lake and gives a small sense of how difficult the conditions were. The museum next to the monument is impressive, as is the diorama museum on the way back to St Petersburg

The monument is beautiful especially at night when the fire illuminates surroundings
