A very fancy (fantasy) structure, like many others in this part of the park (for example, the Big Caprice), but how diversified the landscape!

The ruin tower was erected at the behest of Empress Catherine II, designed by the architect Y. M. Felten in 1771-1773 in honor of the victories of the Russian army in the Russian-Turkish war of 1768-1774.

Beautiful place. Cool acoustics while you climb the spiral staircase. The tower is not high, but the view from it is beautiful. It's great that you can go down and down to get to the lower level of the park. This tower hosts fashion shows of famous St. Petersburg fashion designers. I have not seen, but I think the sight is impressive.
