Very old place but very historical
The place is cool, but the territory was blocked. No more getting there. (
The history of the construction of the dacha of Boris Vladimirovich
From the building of the dacha of Grand Duke Boris Vladimirovich in Russia a brilliant history of modernity began. Its owner is the cousin (cousin) of Emperor Nicholas II. For twenty years, the Queen of England Victoria, his godmother and grandmother of all the royal houses of Europe, gave him a summer cottage, brought in disassembled form from England. The building was built in the years 1896-1897. For her, a plot of land was selected in 4 hectares of land in the Separate Park, near the Kolonistsky Pond.
The building was assembled by the London masters from the firm Maple, assembled two buildings - a house (actually a dacha) and a stable. In 1889 another building was erected, the so-called Reserve House. Around the buildings was a beautiful garden with a tuya and an ash tree alley and a fountain drowning in roses. The building is built according to the type of traditional English cottages. It has a complex shape, asymmetric and versatile, windows of different sizes. The walls are faced with textured plaster, in some places open brickwork is left, the roof is covered with tiles. The building of the stables was decorated with a clock tower.
The place is very beautiful, atmospheric and in sunny weather, and in a thunderstorm. However, just a week ago, all fenced with a fresh fence, ponavesili warnings of federal property and all the wickets (even the one that in the depths of the park was always open) are closed to new bicycle locks. Apparently the VIR decided to do something with the territory and covered the shop. It's a pity. The house is very good in the pictures, especially in the early autumn.
The photographs are very beautiful place, I decided to scout. So, there’s NO way to approach the house at all. Everything is blocked by a fence :(
