Architect A. Rinaldi. 1762 - 1774 years. Pavilion Roller Coaster has a complex composition and was conceived as a pleasure building in the spirit of Russian folk entertainment. To the elegant pavilion, in which receptions were arranged adjoined at level 3 floors, undulating skates with cutting wheels measuring 532 meters in length. The prototype of the ice mountains in the days of the oily weddings. In the summer, they were skated in special gilded wheelchairs. On both sides there were galleries and colonnades, decorated with sculptures and vases. The mountains - skates and colonnades were dismantled in the middle of the XIX century. The rollercoaster refers to the most original buildings of Rinaldi. At the moment, only a stone pavilion in the Rococo style has survived from the grandiose ensemble. A real decorative toy. The rollercoaster was part of the ensemble of A.Menshikov's country residence of Peter I's associate in Lomonosov on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland.
