Strelka Vasil'yevskogo Ostrova

When I visited this square everything was taken by snow and so I can't see it in the normal conditions, but what I saw it's a very sumptuous place with a frozen Neva river besides it and a really beautiful view I'll never forget. Oh, the image of the bridge also stays forever in my mind.

I was here but did not know whether I was at Strelka Vasil'yevskogo. As you proceed from Winter Palace across the street you have a big view of the Neva river. Make your passage to the left and cross over a bridge and you will be Strelka Vasil'yevskogo Ostrova. Along the way, you can capture some beautiful views of the river, ride on a boat for a cruise, dine in restaurants, buy souvenirs, etc. You can spot many tourists in that area. It's a suitable and safest route to Peter and Paul fortress if you are traveling on foot.

Love this place, worth visiting all times a year

Beautiful place with views on river Niva, the Hermitage, bridges, Peter-Pavel's Fortress and other sightseeings. You can visit many foreign tourists here, buy some souvenirs, map or something else for yourself or for your friends. Take your photos and make your memories about one of Saint Petersburg's places.
